Latvia's Digital Week 2025: Advancing Digital Literacy and AI Skills

From March 24 to 28, 2025, Latvia hosted its 16th annual Digital Week, organized by the Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association (LIKTA) in collaboration with over 100 partners from the public and private sectors. The event featured more than 250 face-to-face and online activities, attracting over 22,000 participants. The focus areas included artificial intelligence (AI) skills, digital competencies in the education sector, cybersecurity, and future labor market requirements. The initiative aimed to enhance digital skills across various demographics, including seniors, entrepreneurs, and public sector employees, emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning and digital inclusion
